Dudok de Wit

The Dutch animator, Michael Dudok de Wit, received the inaugural Prix Robert Bresson in September 2004. The Prix was awarded by Mme Bresson during the first Rencontre avec Robert Bresson held in Droue sur Drouette, Bresson's country home and on the anniversary weekend of Bresson's birthday. Dudok de Wit alternates between making commercials and his own short films, which include the 2001 OSCAR-winning Father and Daughter. Filmmaker Jonathan Hourigan, who worked with Robert and Mylène Bresson on L'Argent, interviewed Michael Dudok de Wit for robert-bresson.com at his home in North London.
